Wheel Pose (Chakrasana)
Benefits of this Yoga Pose:
- Chakrasana strengthens the arms, legs, and back while increasing spinal flexibility and improving posture. It stimulates the nervous system, boosts energy, and instills a sense of invigoration.
Step 1
Lie on your back, bend your knees, place your feet close to your hips, and place your palms beside your ears.
Step 2
Inhale, press into your hands and feet, lift your hips and chest, straighten your arms and legs, and arch your spine, looking towards the floor.
- Avoid if you have wrist, back, or shoulder injuries.
Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet hip-width apart. Place your hands beside your ears, fingers pointing toward your shoulders. Inhale, press into your hands and feet, lift your hips off the mat, and straighten your arms and legs. Arch your spine and keep your head hanging, opening your chest toward the ceiling.
